The project is to community based public awareness campaign aimed at spreading the word about the vital and growing role of your public library It is run by OCLC with funding from the Gates Foundation. Puke Arike Museum,Library & Visitor Infomation Centre , New Plymouth, New Zealand has won multiple awards for design, delivery, technology, innovation and architecture.

Ashfield, Burwood, Botany Bay, Kogarah, Strathfield and Marrickville libraries have formed a partnership to provide access to each others collections via their library catalogues.Going to any of their catalogues and selecting ALL will give you access to all their collections.

Shorelink is another consortium of 5 public libraries on the lower north shore of Sydney, involving Lane Cove, Manly, Mosman, North Sydney and Willoughby which has a shared catalogue eg Shorelink Online catalogue
